Lexcel v5 Launched

November 2011.

Lexcel v5 was launched on 31st October 2011.

Compared to v4.1:

• there are some additional requirements
  
  
• some requirements have been dropped
  
  
• some requirements have changed

Practices can be assessed against v5 from January 1st 2012 onwards. Assessment against v4.1 will cease to be available from June 30th 2012.

All the quality management systems we are currently creating for our clients meet the requirements of v5 (in fact, as usual, they far exceed them).

As with previous new versions of Lexcel, we offer an upgrade service. Just provide us with your v4.1 compliant Quality Manual or grant us access to your v4.1 compliant online QMS and, for a fixed price, we will amend it to be Lexcel v5 compliant - and to support Lexcel v5 compliant behaviours.
