Why ISO?

Amongst purchasers of legal services, larger organisations around the world - in both the private and public sectors - increasingly look for quality assured suppliers. ISO 9001:2008 is recognised worldwide as an independently audited generic quality management standard.

Quality management helps you get big ticket work and protects your business from exposure to both strategic and operational risk.

For most solicitors in England and Wales, Lexcel is the obvious choice. But ISO may be more beneficial for others.

ISO benefits

ISO 9001:2008 meets many law firms' quality management requirements. It is stronger than Lexcel in some areas but weaker in others. The great benefit is that ISO is internationally recognised by virtually everyone needing international legal services and therefore provides assurance of reasonable quality in their delivery.

Choosing an ISO consultant
